Theme and atmosphere: what does Triple Hop Pots look like?
Frogs carry associations with wealth and prosperity in Chinese culture, and that is the hook the art leans on. Water slides over rocks, East Asian buildings sit in the background, and a low sun throws light across the whole scene. It is a pleasant, unhurried tableau rather than a spectacle, and the tone stays friendly throughout instead of trying to intimidate you into a big bet.
Six pay symbols do the routine work: green, red and blue gems, lotus flowers, golden fish and pearls, paying 0.5x to 10x the stake for winning combinations. No wilds appear anywhere, in the base game or the bonus, which keeps the reading of each spin very literal.
One practical gripe that shows up quickly in the demo. On a laptop or a monitor, that 3x3 grid occupies a genuinely small slice of the screen and the surrounding artwork does not make up the difference. Played on a phone, where the reels fill the frame, the game looks considerably better designed. If you plan to test it from our demo slots collection on desktop, expect a lot of empty pixels.
How does the Triple Hop Pots Slot Demo play?
Triple Hop Pots uses a 3x3 grid with five paylines. Bets run from $/€0.10 to $/€250 per spin, which is a wide range for a game pitched at newcomers. Default RTP is 96.5%, though lower configurations of 95.5% and 94.5% also exist, so check the info panel at whichever casino you play, since operators choose the variant. Volatility is low and the maximum win is 5,000x the stake; Pragmatic Play’s own figures put the odds of reaching that ceiling at 1 in 2,427,184.
The base game is where the design gets thin. Money symbols only appear inside the bonus round, so spinning the reels normally means waiting for scatters while gem and lotus combinations tick over small amounts. There are no ante bets and no feature buys, meaning no lever to pull when the wait drags. Low volatility keeps the balance steady rather than dramatic, and steady is exactly what a stretch between bonuses feels like here.
Anyone still fuzzy on how RTP variants and volatility interact will find plain-language explainers in our slots resources, which helps before you decide what your stake should be.
What do the three modifiers actually do?
Everything interesting is bundled into one feature. Three scatters exist, each tied to a reel: Green on reel 1, Red on reel 2, Purple on reel 3. Landing them randomly triggers the free spins round, and the number that land, one, two or three, decides how many modifiers switch on for it.
The round opens with 6 free spins and brings Money symbols worth 0.5x to 500x the bet onto the grid. Each modifier then applies multipliers to the values landing on specific reels. Green adds x2 to reels 1 and 2. Red adds x3, x6 and x3 to reels 1, 2 and 3. Purple adds x2 to reels 2 and 3. Money values are multiplied by whatever is active on their reel, collected and paid.
Multipliers stack additively when a later trigger lands on a reel that already carries one, and further scatter hits during the round can switch on additional modifiers while awarding 3 extra free spins each time. That stacking is the only realistic route to 5,000x, which is why the ceiling looks generous on the paper and rare in practice.
Reviewers have generally called the mechanic clear rather than clever, and that is fair. It mirrors the three-modifier structure of Triple Pot Gold closely enough that anyone who has played that game will recognise the shape immediately, even though the frog theme gives this one its own identity rather than making it a straight port. For the same POP approach applied to a much louder set of visuals, Gates of Olympus POP Slot makes the sub-brand’s simplify-everything philosophy easier to see side by side.
Worth flagging for anyone chasing the bonus with casino credit: this is a collect round, not a conventional spins round, so read the terms attached to any free spins bonus before assuming they apply here.
What are the best casinos for Triple Hop Pots?
Pragmatic Play distributes very widely, so availability is rarely the problem. The variables that matter are which RTP configuration an operator has loaded, whether the site handles the game well on mobile, and how the bonus terms treat low-volatility slots. Our Pragmatic Play casinos page lists the licensed sites carrying the studio’s catalogue, with payment methods and licensing set out for each.
Bet sizing deserves a thought too. With a $/€0.10 floor, wagering requirements clear slowly if you keep stakes small, while the $/€250 ceiling can breach maximum bet rules on some offers. Compare the terms across our casino bonuses section first, then move from the demo to real money once you know which restrictions apply.
Play the Triple Hop Pots Slot Demo for free
The Triple Hop Pots Slot Demo above runs the full game in your browser with virtual credits, so nothing is at stake while you test it. Use it for two specific questions. First, how long a gap between bonus rounds you can tolerate, given Money symbols never appear in the base game. Second, how the compact 3x3 grid feels on your actual device, because the difference between phone and desktop is noticeable.
It also lets you watch the modifiers combine without paying for the education. Trigger the round with one scatter, then with three, and the multiplier stacking becomes obvious in about a minute. If you want to see what Pragmatic Play has queued up next, our upcoming slots page tracks new releases as demos go live.
Pros and cons
| ✅ Pros | ❌ Cons |
|---|
| Charming frog-and-pond theme with genuinely pleasant artwork | Base game is bland, since collecting only happens in the bonus |
| Modifiers are simple enough to understand in one round | No ante bet or feature buy, so waiting for scatters can drag |
| 5,000x max win is respectable for a game this small | Modifiers mirror Triple Pot Gold closely and add little novelty |
| Wide betting range from $/€0.10 to $/€250 | Reels occupy very little of a large screen |
| Low volatility suits cautious, small-stake sessions | Repetition can tire even its target casual audience |
Verdict
- Beginner-friendly by design, and it succeeds at that narrow brief: three coloured scatters, three modifiers, one bonus round, no wilds to explain.
- A 5,000x ceiling is a real number, but reaching it needs a heavy multiplier stack, and the 1 in 2,427,184 probability sets expectations honestly.
- Between bonuses there is nothing to do, which is the central weakness rather than a minor blemish.
- Anyone who has played Triple Pot Gold gets a lighter coat of paint on a familiar structure.
- RTP configuration is worth checking, since it ranges from 96.5% down to 94.5% depending on the operator.
Best for: new players who want a calm, low-stake introduction to Money symbol collect games, ideally on a phone.
Skip if: you want base-game action, feature buys, or anything you have not already seen in Pragmatic Play’s other three-modifier collect titles. Other releases such as Coven Rising Slot sit in the same demo library if this one feels too quiet.
In summary
In summary, Triple Hop Pots is a low-volatility Pragmatic Play collect slot on a 3x3 grid with five paylines, a default 96.5% RTP (with 95.5% and 94.5% variants), bets from $/€0.10 to $/€250 and a 5,000x maximum win. Green, Red and Purple scatters trigger a 6-spin bonus with Money symbols worth 0.5x to 500x, boosted by stacking reel multipliers. The theme charms, the mechanics are simple, and the base game gives you very little between bonus rounds.
Last hop off the lily pad
Triple Hop Pots knows precisely who it is talking to, and if that is you, the demo above is the cheapest possible introduction to Money symbol collect games. Just be honest with yourself about the pace before you switch to real money, set a budget you would not miss, and treat any session limit you set as a rule rather than a suggestion.
