Which Casino Lottery Offers Are Worth Entering?
A casino lottery bonus works differently from a normal deposit match or free-spin offer.
Instead of receiving a guaranteed reward after depositing, you earn tickets or points through qualifying play and use them to enter a prize draw. Your reward therefore depends on being selected as a winner rather than simply meeting a wagering requirement.
The lottery offers we currently consider worth comparing are quite different: Wild io rewards regular casino play with lottery tickets, while Stake gives one weekly raffle ticket for each qualifying $1,000 wagered across its casino or sportsbook.
If you’d rather compare guaranteed promotions, browse other casino bonus types.
Best casino lottery offers
| Our pick | Lottery | Prize | How you earn entries | Wagering on winnings | What stands out |
|---|
| Best lottery bonus overall | Wild io Wild Lottery | $1,500 per draw | Earn Wild Points through casino play and exchange them for tickets | 0x | Lower entry threshold and no wagering on prizes |
| Biggest weekly raffle | Stake Weekly Raffle | $75,000 | 1 ticket per $1,000 wagered on casino or sportsbook | No bonus wagering stated | Much larger prize pool, but tickets require far more wagering |
Best overall: Wild io Wild Lottery
Wild io’s lottery is our preferred option if you’re looking for a casino draw that doesn’t require huge wagering just to get one entry.
Real-money play earns Wild Points. At the current rates, slots generate 1 point per $5 wagered and table games generate 1 point per $20 wagered. Every 10 Wild Points can then be exchanged for one lottery ticket.
That means one ticket takes roughly:
| Game type | Wagering needed for 10 points |
|---|
| Slots | $50 |
| Table games | $200 |
The draw currently runs every Thursday, with $1,500 shared across 10 winners. Prizes have 0x wagering, so there’s no additional playthrough after winning.
That’s what makes the offer interesting to us. The prize pool is much smaller than Stake’s, but the amount of wagering needed to build entries is considerably lower.
Biggest prize pool: Stake Weekly Raffle
Stake’s weekly raffle takes the opposite approach.
For every $1,000 wagered across the casino or sportsbook, you automatically receive one raffle ticket. There’s no stated limit on how many tickets you can earn.
The current weekly prize pool is $75,000 split across 15 winners, with the draw held each Saturday.
The advantage is obvious: the prize pool is substantially larger.
The downside is equally important. A single ticket requires $1,000 of qualifying wagering, so we wouldn’t recommend increasing your normal betting volume simply to earn more entries.
Wild io vs Stake
| Wild io | Stake |
|---|
| Prize pool | $1,500 | $75,000 |
| Winners | 10 | 15 |
| Draw frequency | Weekly | Weekly |
| Entry system | Wild Points exchanged for tickets | Automatic tickets from wagering |
| Approx. slots wagering for one ticket | $50 | $1,000 |
| Table-game wagering for one ticket | $200 | $1,000 |
| Sports wagering counts | No | Yes |
| Wagering on prize | 0x | No additional bonus wagering stated |
The larger raffle isn’t automatically the better promotion.
Stake offers 50 times the headline prize pool, but earning one entry also requires considerably more wagering.
For someone already playing regularly at Wild io, the lottery is easier to participate in without changing normal play. For a high-volume Stake player, the weekly raffle can make more sense because qualifying casino and sportsbook activity earns tickets automatically.
Lottery bonuses aren’t guaranteed value
This is the biggest difference between a lottery and most other bonus types.
If you claim a 10% cashback offer and meet the conditions, the reward is calculated from your qualifying activity.
With a lottery:
- qualifying play only gives you an entry;
- more tickets improve your chances but don’t guarantee a prize;
- the value of a ticket depends on how many total entries are in the draw;
- you can complete substantial wagering and win nothing.
For that reason, we don’t value a $75,000 raffle as though each player is receiving part of that amount.
It’s a prize pool, not a guaranteed bonus.
How lottery entries are earned
| Method | How it works | Example |
|---|
| Points-based tickets | Casino play generates loyalty-style points that can be converted into entries | Wild io |
| Wagering-based tickets | Every fixed amount wagered generates an automatic entry | Stake |
| Deposit-triggered draw | A qualifying deposit gives one or more entries | Not currently represented in our lottery data |
| Free entry / opt-in draw | Entry doesn’t depend on wagering or depositing | Not currently represented in our lottery data |
We’d keep those mechanics separate rather than describing all prize draws as the same type of “lottery bonus”.
No-wagering lottery prizes
Wild io is particularly notable because its lottery prizes have 0x wagering.
That means a winning prize isn’t turned into bonus money that then needs to be played through.
If avoiding playthrough is the main priority, you can compare it with other no-wagering casino offers.
The important difference is that lottery winnings aren’t guaranteed in the first place. A 0x lottery prize is excellent if you win, but it shouldn’t be compared directly with guaranteed 0x cashback or cash bonuses.
What we’d check before entering a casino lottery
| What we check | Why it matters |
|---|
| Ticket requirement | Shows how much play is needed for a single entry |
| Prize pool | The total amount being distributed |
| Number of winners | A $75,000 pool split between 15 people is different from one jackpot winner |
| Draw frequency | Weekly, monthly or one-off |
| Eligible play | Casino, sportsbook, slots or table games may earn tickets differently |
| Ticket limits | Some draws cap entries while others don’t |
| Prize wagering | Winning money may still carry playthrough |
| Draw process | How winners are selected and announced |
| Expiry | Whether tickets reset between draws |
We verify the promotion itself rather than assuming a large prize pool makes it the better offer.
How we make our picks: we look at the amount of qualifying play required to earn entries, how often the draw takes place, the prize structure and what happens to the prize after it is won.
A note on responsible play
Lottery promotions can encourage players to wager more because additional play earns additional tickets.
We wouldn’t recommend increasing deposits or betting volume simply to generate more entries. Treat tickets as an extra benefit from play you were already comfortable with rather than a reason to chase the draw.
